17-04-09 - Refit deepfreeze warehouse for HUMANITAS

From HUMANITAS Rotterdam (NL), an (elderly) care organization, Scarabee received an order to refit their automated deepfreeze warehouse. In the more then 12 years old deepfreeze warehouse meals are stocked in totes. Meals are provided from the nearby central kitchen of HUMANITAS and stored in a small automated high bay deepfreeze warehouse. These meals are later picked automatically into a roll container by use of the miniload crane and robot palletizer. Not only the crane and robot will be refitted but also some conveyor materials and the complete PLC and WMS controls. All refit activities will be done with only 2 weeks system  downtime.
